Skreemr is an excellent music search engine. Not only does it find songs but it provides almost everything you ever wanted to know about the song and the artist! Here is an example of a search result for the song called “Stolen” by Dashboard Confessional.
The top of the result after File is the name of the song which is downloadable in most cases.
The share option allows you to create a URL that you can share with others or generate html code to allow you to embed its slick music player on your website.
In the More Info area are several useful features:
LyricWiki will find the words to the song
Wikipedia will display its entry for that artist
Amazon will provide all available material for sale on their site for that artist
YouTube will display all musicvideos for that artist
Gruvr will show you where that artist is playing next and even show a map!
Flickr will shows photos of the artist
ThumbPlay will share ringtones
In short, Skreemr is an awesome search engine if you love music, even if it’s just for the information and not the song itself.
